MITCHELL IRRIGATION DISTRICT
PLANS FOR
WATER
SEASON SHUTDOWN
Mitchell Irrigation District is on full storage and there are no signs that any natural flow will be available in the foreseeable future.
With that in mind, the District's Staff is making plans to shut the water off when the currently paid storage water has been used. At the current water usage,
SHUT OFF DATE WILL BE APPROXIMATELY
SEPTEMBER 7TH.
Please bear this in mind as you prepare to end the water season.
Your ditchrider will keep you up on developments as they become available.

Please use the Storage water conservatively as we try to slowly rebuild our reserve in the Glendo Storage Account. One dry year and we are back to square one!
